My name is Katie Morrill, and I started Simply Schu back in 2017 when I started learning calligraphy. I have 10+ years of graphic design experience, and when I began to incorporate my own lettering to my designs, Simply Schu became “official.”

The “Schu” from Simply Schu comes from my maiden name, Schuveiller. Back when I was trying to figure out what to call this little business, my husband just said - “you’re just simply schu” (a nickname i’ve had my whole life), and voilà!
